save his people from the wrath of Crete, Prince Theseus of Athens offers
himself as a royal sacrifice to the Minotaur. Through a blending of movement,
mask-work, sound chorus and theatre, this piece explores issues of revenge
and justice, the intersection between games and ritual, and the differences
between public and private heroism.
